Happy Holidays to the homeowners of Cottonwood! As we wind down the year I wanted to look back at what was accomplished this year, and give some insight to what’s coming up next. 2019 was a good year overall, and I expect 2020 to be even better!
What were some of the changes made for homeowners? Well… we replace the fencing along Cottonwood School road using professional services. We also dropped the life guards at the pool making the pool a “swim at your own risk” pool. New badging system installed and distributed access cards to residents to get into the pool (please do not lose those, they are reusable and there will be a charge for replacements.) We were able to put up monitored cameras to help protect the neighborhood investment (pool). Planted flowers at the entrances, and were able to put some tropical trees around the pool for aesthetics and to fill those areas around the pool that are always bare. Also replaced the flag at the entrance twice.
So… what changes do we have planned for 2020? More flowers at the entrances, as it just doesn’t seem enough with what we did passed year. Through the biggest change will be changing to a new management company. YES! we are dropping PMG, we have heard the homeowners, and the board has had our own problems with PMG to where we think it is time. We hope that the homeowners like the new management company… as much as we do. They are a local smaller business that wants to have involvement in the communities they serve. This will be a huge plus, and will save the homeowners a little money by not having to raise the overall HOA fees. On top of this… there are free options to pay HOA fees with… or you have the choice of driving over there (as they are close). I am sure there will be other projects… but this is what we have on the road-map.
From the HOA board to the homeowners of Cottonwood… we wish everyone a happy, and healthy holiday, and a safe new year!
